Dudley Council is offering careers support to young people receiving GCSE and A-level results this month. Qualified advisors from the council's Connexions service will be available to help students plan their next steps regardless of their grades.
A-level results day is 13 August. GCSE results day is 20 August.
How to Get Support
Connexions advisors can be contacted on 01384 811400 from 10.30am to 4.30pm on Thursday 13 and Friday 14 August, and all week from Monday 17 to Friday 21 August. Named advisors Brenda (01384 811484), Kelly (01384 811463) and Alison (01384 815347) are available to support students with their next steps.
A drop-in support session will run on Friday 21 August from 10am to 3.30pm at Cable Plaza, Waterfront, Brierley Hill (DY5 1UR). Independent, qualified careers advisors will be on hand to offer guidance and signposting.

Councillor Wayne Little, cabinet member for children and young people, said: "Exam results day can be really daunting. Whether you get the grades you want or don't quite get what you hoped for, there are still lots of options out there, whatever your grades, they are just one part of your story."
