Dudley Council is launching a new £100,000 business support grant scheme to help town centre businesses capitalise on the arrival of the Metro and new Dudley Interchange.
The funding was secured by the Leader of Dudley Council from the Mayor of the West Midlands. It forms part of the Council's wider commitment to support a strong, resilient and thriving town centre.
Who can apply
The scheme will be open to eligible businesses across Dudley town centre, with priority given to businesses located in close proximity to the Metro and Interchange developments. The scheme will support businesses to strengthen their offer, build resilience and prepare for the increased connectivity and opportunities these major investments will bring.

Dudley Council is also appointing a dedicated Town Centre Development Manager who will work directly with businesses, encourage collaboration and support the continued development and vitality of Dudley town centre.
Councillor Simon Phipps, Cabinet Member for Economy and Infrastructure, said: "The Metro and new Interchange represent a once in a generation opportunity for Dudley. They will transform how people connect with the town and give us a powerful new platform to attract new visitors, activity and investment. Our focus is on making sure local businesses are ready to seize that opportunity."
