Dudley Council has launched daily online briefings for residents directly affected by the fire in Norton, Stourbridge. The first briefing took place on Saturday 15 August at 2pm, with further sessions held daily at the same time.

In-person attendance
Residents without internet access can attend an in-person live stream at Stourbridge Town Hall at 2pm. Those attending in person were asked to arrive by 1.45pm. Attendance is limited to residents directly affected by the fire.
What the briefings will cover
The sessions provide updates on the response and recovery efforts, road closures and openings, and access to properties. Representatives supporting affected residents are also welcome to attend.
Councillor Ed Lawrence, portfolio holder responsible for emergency planning, said: "These daily briefings will provide a dedicated opportunity for affected residents to hear the latest updates and ask questions in the chat."
Who can attend
Dudley Council has asked that only residents directly affected by the fire, or their representatives, attend the briefings to ensure those most impacted can access information and ask questions.
