The September works announcement
Dudley Council announced resurfacing at Andrew Road car park as part of its capital improvement programme. Closure was scheduled from 7pm on 31 August 2026, with work planned to start on 1 September and expected to take two days.
The plan included resurfacing a significant part of the site and renewing parking bay markings. Motorists were asked to remove vehicles before access was restricted; the announcement said access would remain unavailable until the work was complete.
The council described the improvements as work to keep the car park safe, accessible and fit for purpose. Read the original dated works notice for the announcement.
